Ashtapadi 5
Radha as Virahotkanthita Nayika

When Radha saw Krishna enjoying affectionate exchanges with all the Gopis in the groves of Vrindavana, she became indignant because he had not acknowledged her eminence. She immediately departed for another part of the forest and hid herself inside a shady bower that resounded with the drone of bumblebees. Feeling wretched, she began to disclose secrets to her intimate female companion. Kuchipudi
Ashtapadi 6
Radha as Abhisarika Nayika

In this ashtapadi, Radha is lovelorn to unite with Lord Krishna. She urges her sakhi to bring Krishna, the destroyer of demon Keshi. She reminisces her loving moments with Krishna whose beauty is like the love God Madana himself. She narrates to her sakhi that how on one dark silent night she stepped out of the house to go meet Krishna in the lonely forest, overcoming all the hurdles in her way.
